About this design
A GPS + LoRaWAN asset tracker for outdoor logistics. STM32 MCU with a Semtech SX1262 LoRa radio at 868 MHz (EU) and a u-blox GNSS module, powered by LiPo with solar trickle. Long range, low duty cycle, multi-year battery life.
Typical applications
Logistics container tracking, livestock and wildlife monitoring, theft recovery for high-value equipment, lone-worker safety beacons. Anywhere with cellular dead zones but LoRaWAN gateway coverage.
Compliance scope
EN 300 220 (sub-1GHz short-range devices), EN 62479, EN 55032, RED. Antenna geometry and radiated power budget are verified during the funnel stage.
