About this design
A Modbus RTU industrial sensor node with isolated RS-485 transceiver, 12–24V DIN-rail-friendly supply, and protected I/O. STM32F0 or similar industrial-temperature MCU. Ruggedised for factory-floor noise and EMI.
Typical applications
Factory automation, building energy monitoring, distributed sensor networks in process industries. Replaces legacy 4–20mA loops with a digital fieldbus and on-device processing.
Compliance scope
Industrial EMC — EN 61000-6-2 immunity, EN 61000-6-4 emissions, EN 55011 Class A, plus IEC 60664 creepage/clearance for the 24V input. Hazardous-area variants need ATEX (out of scope here).
